At Messages in Metal, we promise that our products are free of manufacturer defects and you are covered under that warranty for 365 days from the delivery date of your purchase.
The warranty covers:
- Personalized Jewelry and Chain
- Loss of Stones
We will replace the item at no charge and at no cost for the shipping or we will refund the purchase price minus the initial cost of shipping your selection with return of the item.
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Damage to the jewelry due to improper care (Improper care means NOT following the recommended Care Instructions that are included with your order and can be found here.)
- Oxidation of precious metal (Tarnishing - see below)
- Loss of jewelry due to accidental loss, carelessness, chain breakage, etc.
It is important to note that precious metals will oxidize (tarnish) over time. Proper polishing to remove oil and build up will keep the metal from oxidizing and make your personalized name necklace looking brand new.
